Dr. Mustapha Hotait
Dr. Mustapha Hotait graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2009 and later went on to receive specialty training at Indiana University in bone grafting, gum disease, and implantology. Dr. Hotait is a member of the ADA, the AACD, and the AAID. He is also a Diplomat for the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Hotait would love to help you improve your smile and life!
Create a Strong & Beautiful Smile Using Implants
Dental implants are replacement tooth roots that Dr. Daboul can insert into your jaw. We can then secure new teeth to them to restore your smile and make chewing easier. There are many other great benefits of dental implants, such as increased confidence and improved oral health.
Although dental implants have a success rate of 95 percent, as with any other dental or medical procedure, there is the possibility you may experience side effects from your implants. Usually, however, these are mild and will go away on their own without any special treatment. Possible side effects include swelling in your gums or face, bruising in your skin or gums, mild pain or discomfort, and minor bleeding.
When you visit us for your initial consultation, be sure to provide us with your complete medical history, including any medications and supplements you're taking. We need this information to help ensure you don't have any complications from your dental implants.
Most of our patients experience only mild discomfort after their implant procedure. However, if you notice any unusual symptoms like intense pain or numbness, contact us as soon as possible so that we can provide treatment as needed. Other than yourself, no one wants your implant treatment to succeed more than we do.
We fully expect that you'll enjoy your new implants. They should last you for many years, giving you great performance and optimal comfort - all without needing any special care.
Give us a call today at 248-220-7021 if you have any questions about the side effects of dental implants or if you'd like to schedule your consultation. You may also want to register for one of our implant seminars to get more information about all the benefits of teeth implants.
